The Help-is-Here Foundation has announced Dr. Aderinwale as the recipient of its inaugural Excellence in Women’s Health Award for 2021.
This prestigious recognition according to a statement signed by Adesola Odetayo, highlights Dr. Aderinwale’s tireless work in improving maternal and reproductive healthcare services in underserved communities across Nigeria, particularly in the SouthWest region.
Chosen from a competitive pool of healthcare professionals in women's and reproductive health nationwide, Dr. Aderinwale’s innovative healthcare initiatives and policy advocacy efforts have transformed women’s health.
The award was presented in recognition of his leadership, compassion, and unwavering commitment to bridging health disparities—accomplishments that far surpass those of many of his contemporaries in the field.
In addition to this distinction, the Help-is-Here Foundation will also be recognizing outstanding individuals in two other categories:
Excellence in Community Development Initiatives, awarded to Dr. Chinedu Akabueze, OON, and Pharm. Ibrahim Shettima.
They made significant contributions to the social and infrastructural well-being of their communities through health-related projects, outreach, and empowerment programs.
Excellence in Education and Training Skills, awarded to Professor Olusegun Etudaiye, a Professor of childhood education.
He has demonstrated exceptional commitment to mentoring, capacity building, and the development of educational frameworks that advance literacy and professional training in underserved populations.
The Award Ceremony will be held on January 6, 2022, at the Banquet Hall of the Eko Hotel Suites, 1415 Adetokunbo Ademola Street, Victoria Island, Lagos, Lagos State, Nigeria, at exactly 5:00 PM.
