A total of 547 Caleb University Students, Imota, Lagos State have excelled in all programmes of global Information Technology (IT) Certification which took effect from the 2020/2021 session.
It could be recalled that the University went into a collaboration with Crystal Marketing Centre as training partner.
In a statement released by the Institution, the details on the first IT certification result showed that on February 12, 2021, 324 students from 300 Level sat for the certification, while 223 Batch A 100 Level took their turn on March 19, 2021.
"So far, a total of
547 Caleb students have been certified.
"Batch B 100 Level students will write their certification soon.
"IT Certification is a prerequisite for award of Bachelor's degree. Consequently, the University has made it compulsory for all students to get certified before graduation."
"Google Certification is designed to facilitate digital competence; inspire student creativity; instill confidence with digital learning and strategies, increase digital citizenship, among others".
The University considers this feat as another stepping stone in consolidating its stance as Africa's best private university in research and enterprenuership development, as the students demonstrated competence, independence, knowledge and ability to excel in Local and International Examinations.
