Dr Daniel Olukoya, the General Overseer, Mountain of Fire And Miracles Ministries Worldwide, a.k.a MFM has described this year as a year of strange battles which requires serious prayers to combat the forces of darkness on assignment for the year.
The Man of God gave this prophetic view of the Year 2025 at the Cross Over Service of the MFM held at the Prayer City Ibafo, along Lagos Ibadan Expressway.
In his maiden message for the year, Dr Olukoya pointed out that the prophetic picture of the year is portentous as those without glory will stand up against those with glory.
The emptied will like to empty the full. The unlucky will try to eliminate the lucky ones and those with dull stars will attempt to destroy the shining stars, Dr Olukoya noted.
He explained that the year would be full of tricks as men without covenant will try to eliminate those with covenant while the uncircumcised will try to kill the circumcised.
He insisted that the oppressed will fight those who are freed, adding that it is a year where the tail will try to wag the head as those without vision will fight those with vision and thieves will be fighting the owners.
The MFM General Overseer further warned that 2025 is a year prayerlessness is extremely dangerous as it is a year when prayers are essential to tackle the country's economic downturn, political turbulence and natural disturbance.
Dr Olukoya said the new year also required prayers to ward off new and strange infirmities.
He however insisted that the year comes with bag loads of opportunities and restorations for many.
He said it is a year of unlimited deliverance and a year of strange conversion when fake prophets shall be naked and disgraced.
A year of tragedy for married men who likes going around with strange women.
A year of unusual open doors to those seeking for marital and fruits of the womb breakthroughs.
A year forgiveness will yield dividends. A period of divine interruption where the Lord will scatter the plans of the enemies
According to the renowned and respected man of God, it is a year God will raise transformative leaders like Joseph, Esther and Daniel
He however said that the prophetic picture of the year needs major three important keys to navigate the year successfully.
The first key is "Power from on High" to combat and defeat the powers below as David defeated Goliath. "Jesus also knew that there are powers to contend with in this world that was why He told His disciples in Acts 1:8, Luke 10:19, Luke 24:49".
Another key to be on top of this year is "Miracle of Open Eyes" Proverbs 20:12. Hosea 4:6 and Psalm 119:18, Luke 24:30 and 2 Kings 6:8.
The man of God emphasized that our spiritual eyes must be lightened and shaped to see beyond the physical things, to see divine opportunities and divine creativities.
While the third key to navigate the year successfully is "Targeted Prayers" He emphasized that effective prayers are seriously needed to unlock the hidden treasures, achieving uncommon success in our endeavors and undeniable breakthroughs.
In his conclusion, Dr Olukoya told the congregation that MFM's Motto for the m year is "Year 2025: My Year Of Power And Undeniable Victory" which can be found in Acts 1:8, Psalm 108:13, Luke 10:19 and Romans 8:37 in the Bible.
