One Injured As Suspected Kidnapper Abduct Ogun landlord

Tragedy struck at Leme Community in Abeokuta South local government area of Ogun State when suspected kidnappers abducted one Ogundele Soaga a landlord at
1, Jesutofunmi street, Leme, Abiola Way, Abeokuta.

It was gathered that the victim who is one of the landlords in the area was abducted at about 5.pm on the fateful day.

It was gathered that during the sad event, one Bankole Olanrewaju was brutally injured due to his identification of one of the Kidnappers.

Speaking to our Correspondent from his hospital bed, Bankole Olanrewaju who was writhing in pain said, “The victim, who is my Landlord was kidnapped by a seven-man kidnapping gang at our home when I was having a conversation with the Landlord in front of the house that evening when the kidnappers abducted him 

"Unfortunately, I was around that day and I happened to recognize one of the abductors who was my old classmate. He thought that I might reveal his identity to the police, so I had to run away, but yet, they pursued me and hit me with their vehicle. I passed out and only woke up at this hospital.

He said it took the intervention of good Samaritans who came to his rescue and rushed him to the hospital, and "the doctor confirmed that I have a fractured leg on my left femur."

Meanwhile, the Ogun State command of Nigeria Police have confirmed the abduction of one Ogundele Soaga at the Leme area of Abeokuta.

In a release signed by the Police Spokesperson, Abimbola Oyeyemi said during the sad event, one person was injured and he is receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital.

He vowed that the Police will rescue the abducted Landlord alive and call for information on how to arrest the culprits.
