Tension has continued to rise in Owode-Egba in the Obafemi Owode Local Government of Ogun State over the attack on the life of one Mrs. Oseni Roseline Adenike on Saturday 13th of February, 2021 and which subsequently led to her death on Sunday the 14th of February, 2021 at a private hospital where she was believed to have been receiving treatments for the injuries she sustained during the attack.

Mrs. Oseni Roseline Adenike was said to have been attacked by a group of unidentified men at her residence at Owode Egba, Ogun state on Saturday 13th of February, 2021 and was left to bleed to death after inflicting her with various degrees of matchet cuts on her.

A neighbour who pleaded anonymity because she doesn't want her name in print media for security reasons said the neighbours heard Mrs. Oseni Roseline Adenike screaming for help from her apartment but could not go inside her residence for fear of their lives as there were no able bodied men around as the time.

The neighbour while speaking with our Ogun state correspondent Jide Sanyaolu who visited the scene of the attack said that a distress call was later put through to the police who later arrived after the hoodlums had escaped into the thin air.

When contacted on the telephone, the police image maker in Ogun State, Mr. Abimbola Oyeyemi said he is yet to receive such reports.
