Tension In Community As Police Trail Same Sex Suspects

Ikoyi Community in  Ikere,Ekiti State was at the weekend thrown into commotion when security operatives stormed the area in search of two men.

The men,Osomode Olamide Ganiyu and his  friend,Emmanuel Sunday,according to impeccable Police  sources were alleged to have  engaged in samesex,an offence which attracts not less than six years jail sentence.

The existing peace in the community was threatened for about an hour as the security operatives from the State Police Command headquarters combed the nooks and crannies of the area vowing to fish out the two suspects for legal action .

It was gathered that one of the suspects,Osomode Olamide was introduced to the illicit game in his secondary school days and had engaged not less than three different men in the sex scandal before nemesis finally caught up with him.

Olamide,according to findings. had visited his friend ,Sunday at his residence on 82 Oke Osun street, where they both  had sex,unknown to them that Sunday's landlord who had been monitoring them,was recording them through the window,as they got in evolved in the shameful act.


Sunday's Landlord,according to a resident in the area who craved anonymity was said to have reported the case to the Police with the evidence at his disposal.


"The Police have been on the trail of Olamide and his friend ,Sunday who have since been at large for fear of possible arrest" a source informed,nothing further that since the search for the two friends began,they have not had any rest of mind as the duo have continued to change locations to avoid arrest.


While the two suspects were said to  have decided not to hand themselves over to the Police for prosecution,a senior Police officer at  the  criminal Investigation department of the State Police Command told Journalists," we have commenced  a discreet investigation into the matter and soonest  we shall get to the root of the case"

" We have sent our men to the  residences of the two men to effect their arrest buy our efforts were futile"the senior  Police Officer said.
