Archbishop Akintunde decries forgery of signs and wonders by fake men of God ‎

‎One of the challenges  facing  the body of Christ at this end time is the forgery of God's signs and wonders by fake clerics, ‎the interim President of the National Coalition of Apostles, Archbishops, Bishops and Cardinals of Nigeria (NCABAC), Archbishop Gideon Bamidele Akintunde has said. 

Barring his mind on the unwholesome activities of some men of God who he described as mere "god of men" who has forgotten that one day they shall all give accounts of their stewardship to the Master, ‎Archbishop Akintunde decried such clerics as polluters of the altar of God. 

Chatting with some members of the Association of Christian Media Practitioners of Nigeria, Ogun State branch who had paid him a courtesy call in his office in Abeokuta, the clergyman noted that plans have reached advance stage on steps to to be taken to sanitize the body of Christ as soon as possible.

‎Using Matthew 24:11 and 24 where Christ Himself mentioned false prophets going about to deceive those who are not rooted in the word of God and some elects, the Archbishop insisted that there are also false Christs now roving the world as predicted by Jesus Christ for the end time.

The ‎president of NCABAC also condemned the unruly behavior and unnecessary display of wealth by the some "so called men of God" which he said has made government to consider taxing the church and other activities of the body of Christ. ‎

Expressing his displeasure, Archbishop Akintunde said "how some Pastors, Apostles and Bishops display spiritual immaturity as a result of their shallow knowledge of the words of God and how God operates is worrisome".

He pointed out that having a crowd in a church or multitude in any ministry may not be a sign of divine approval because in Matthew 18:20, the Lord says "where two or three are gathered in my name, there, I shall be in their midst". 

Archbishop Akintunde noted that the National Coalition of Apostles, Archbishops, Bishops and Cardinals of Nigeria (NCABAC) is out to sanitize the body of Christ by ensuring strict adherence to Biblical tenets, precepts and injuctions among his members.

‎He also noted that NCABAC is to sanitize the church in order to present its members and by extension the body of Christ as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto God in other to save souls on the way to destruction.
