Police, Community declare Man Wanted Over Same Sex Act

But for sheer luck, a middle aged man, Babatunde Odusanya would have been lynched to death following his involvement in same sex act.

It was gathered that Babatunde Odusanya was on July 22, 2023 caught while engaging in a same sex act at the dressing room of the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos State by the Security Officer attached to the Stadium on July 22, 2023

The act which raised a serious dust  as some youths and other onlookers  saw it as an avenue to unleash mayhem on Babatunde Odusanya, as his partner, whose identity could not be known as at the time of filling this report, narrowly escaped after the duo were caught 

Our Correspondent gathered that one Tayo Falade a security officer at the National Stadium, caught the two men, one of them identified as Babatunde Odusanya and his friend, who both usually play casual footballs game at the National Stadium Complex in Surulere, Lagos. 

Our Correspondent gathered that it took the intervention of Nigeria Police who had to intervene and quizzed Babatunde Odusanya to their station.

Mr Falade said " a mammoth crowd of angry mobs instantly converged, this made me  raised alarm after the indecent and sacrilegious act between both men.

As the tension further heightened as a result of the act of desecration by Babatunde Odusanya and his immediate arrest by Police, yet, the number of angry youths who gathered at the scene to catch a glimpse of the act of desecration and apprehend them suddenly increased .

However, a police statement made available to journalists in Lagos has vowed to invoke the full weight of the law on Babatunde Odusanya and his accomplice vowing to arraign them in the court of competent jurisdiction.

In Nigeria, the violation of the Same-sex Marriage Prohibition Act of 2014 attracts a minimum of 14 years Imprisonment upon conviction.
