Hoodlums Attack Family Of Ogun Politician With Acid Wife Escapes, Son Injures

A family of People's Democratic Party, (PDP) Abeokuta South Local government, Al-hassan Bukola Ashimolowo narrowly escaped death after they were attacked by suspected hoodlums loyal to All Progressives Congress, a ruling party in the State.

Ashimolowo, a People's Democratic Party Youth leader for Abeokuta South Local government's according to information has been a subject of attack in the recent past.

It was gathered that his immediate family which include his wife and children,  was said to have been attacked while returning home from market where they had gone shopping.

It was gathered that the yet-to-be-identified armed men attacked Ashimolowo's wife, Al-hassan Abosede Oyindamola and three of his children, Al-hassan Moyosore Olasupo, Al-hassan Daniel Mofiyinfoluwa and Al-hassan Peter Inioluwa with a substance  suspected to be acid.

It was gathered that while all escaped unhurt during the attack, Daniel was not all that lucky as he was wet with the substance and had to be rushed to the Federal Medical Center, Abeokuta for treatment.

It should be recalled that Al-hassan Bukola Ashimolowo, a Chieftain of PDP had on several occasions be subject of attacks by the APC loyalists for his stands against APC.

Al-hassan who is a strong supporter of Hon. Ladi Adebutu recently while attending the tribunal sitting in Isabo Abeokuta was attacked alongside some PDP supporters, including Hon Segun Sowunmi.
