Reign of Terror As Suspected Traditionalists Attempt To Abduct Woman In Lagos Community

Hoodlums suspected to be traditional worshippers have attacked the residence of one Ojo Mary Oluwayemisi located at No 13 Owoka  Olajide  Close,  Mile12,  Kosofe Local Government,  Lagos  State, destroying many of the property worth millions of Naira in the house.

It was gathered that the traditionalists who according to information are from Ora, in  Owan Local Government area of Edo State invaded the Lagos home of Ojo Mary Oluwayemisi in a gestapo style with the aim of abducting her to Ora in order for her to perform some rituals for the river goddess in the community.

Our Correspondent gathered that when the house was invaded, the invaders according to a resident of the community said they wanted to stop them, but "they claimed that they are from Oluwayemisi town in  Ora, and they are in the house to perform some spiritual cleansing"

"But contrary to their claim, it was gathered that the hoodlums started destroying every valuables in the house, they shattered the louvres in the building and all the furnitures were turned upside down, it was a gory sight to behold, they poured some substance on the floor in all the rooms in the Oluwayemisi flat. 

Another Landlord of the area who spoke to Our Correspondent, Ernest Nwokolo, confirmed that the traditionalists who came to Ojo Mary Oluwayemisi house that day were very fearful to behold. "They all tied a red cloth around their heads, they put on a black wrapper and we were just watching fro a long distance until they broke into the house, nobody dared to stop them, and we could not involve police because of the fear of repercussion.

"It was after they left that we heard the atrocities they committed in the house, I will advise  the woman that lives in that house to seek for serious protection because the traditionalists I saw that day are very devilish, and nothing can stop them from carrying out their actions if they really meant it.

Meanwhile, Our correspondent gathered that but for sheer luck, Ojo Mary Oluwayemisi may have been killed when the traditionalists invaded his home on the fateful day, as unknown to her, some of the intruders were still around when she unknowingly came to the house.

While narrating the ordeal, Ojo Mary Oluwayemisi elder brother, Kunle Idemudia said "On the day I to visit my Sister,  we saw that all her belongings have been turned upside down, the electronics and other furnitures were vandalized. We were worried. As we were assessing the damage, about five hefty men pounced on us, and before I could know what was happening, they attacked me and my Sister, I woke up later at the hospital bed. 

The matter was reported at the Police station very near the house, but nothing concrete came out of it.
