The Director General of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Movement (Abatmovement) Ogun State and Southwest Coordinator, Chief Oluwafemi Patrick Soluade has been honored with an honorary doctorate degree, honoris causa, by the British American University, Florida, USA.
The decoration held on Saturday November 19, 2022 at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Abeokuta Nigeria was according to the President of the University in Nigeria, Prof. Muhammad Omolaja to recognize various roles the awardees have contributed to the development of the nation.
He said the British American University roles primarily is to imbibe the culture of creativity, innovation and imagination into the students with disposition for life-long learning, research and entrepreneurial professionalism.
"As a fully accredited American University, BAU specifically concentrates on matters of international education in conjunction with our partner
institutions from different continents including Europe, Asia, Africa, Americas, etc.
"At BAU, you can
attend classes at our ground campuses, study online,
enroll for Study-Away programs or choose a combination of these that matches your schedules.
He said Dr. Soluade's choice is based on his antecedents as one who abhors cheating and excelled in his chosen profession.
In his acceptance speech, Dr Oluwafemi Patrick Soluade expressed his happiness towards the huge recognition bestowed on him by the institution.
He said “I’m glad with the award of Honorary Doctorate Degree — Doctor of Science (Honoris Causa) in philosophy and Corporate Governance by the British American University Florida, USA.”
The Frontline politician was decorated with the Doctorate Degree in Philosophy, human resource management and corporate governance.
Chief Oluwafemi Patrick Soluade is an accomplished travel and tourist expert who has cut his niche in real estate business.
Speaking after receiving the award, Dr. Soluade expressed gratitude to the University for recognizing his contributions in the society and attributed his success to God.
He said ''it is interesting that you have assessed my contributions to humanity, and found it worthy of this award and recognition.
"It is indeed interesting that I am honored in an area where I got into by divine providence, and so I hereby pledge that this will spur me on to continue in contributing to humanity". He concluded.
Dr Femi Soluade is a politician from Ogun State Nigeria, specifically from Central Senatorial district . He is a family man.
He obtained OND/BA Fine Art,Graphic & General Art in GRANTON INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY Ontario Canada.

He became the pioneer State Chairman of ACPN in Ogun State in 2010
He was the Ogun State pioneer Chairman of UPN as he joined Late Dr Fredrick Fasheun at the formation of the party resucitated UNITY PARTY OF NIGERIA
He was MAJA Party National Treasurer/ Ogun State Chairman
His last stinct was with PCP (People coalition Party). He is the Convener-for Opposition Political Parties Ogun State.
