The Chairman of Southwest Forum of the Nigerian Institution of Surveyors,  Mr Kolade Kazeem, while expressing dismay at the moral decadence in the profession, urged the Practitioners to uphold the standard without compromise.

In his address, the Ogun State Chairman of the Institution and Host, Surveyor Ademola Adebowale, noted that the summit is a milestone in the history of surveying practice in the zone, adding that the forum lost focus on the standard of practice in all the states as the advancement of members and training and retraining were no longer a priority of the southwest.
